FQDN for the server Roonlabs uses in the Roon ARC access test

Hi guys,

I would like to start by saying Roon ARC works fine, as long as I allow from any source IP on the internet, but that really bugs me.

I want to make sure that only the ip-addresses on the internet that need access to my Roon Core can connect to my completely static WAN ip / port 55000. I can see that server roonlabs uses to test if my Roon Core is accessible from the internet right now is hosted behind this Google ip 107.178.230.137 and if I allow that in my firewall all is well.

I would like to know if this ip will change at some point ? Or if you could provide a FQDN, resolvable from the internet of course, that I can put in my firewall to make sure I will always allow the ip addresses you are using.

Best Regards
Jan

just FYI to me it seems all is working fine even when I do not allow connections from google

Please try and restart your Roon Core and retry. Then my check fails.

I really hope some of the official Roon support people can help out with this. Pretty please :sob: dont make me open my firewall for the entire Google Cloud ASN (AS15169)
