Ghost albums appearing when filtering on My Albums page
For example, if I filter by entering “immac” in the Filter box, I see two identical copies of Madonna’s “ Immaculate Collection” even though my library only contains one. Changes made in one are reflected in the other, so they are not separate instances of the same thing. Instead, one seems to be a mirror image of the other.
Only some albums are mirrored, not all.
In addition, when no filter is applied, it now says “2900 of 1973 albums” instead of simply “1973 albums” under the My Albums heading. The system would therefore seem to be counting all the ghost / mirror copies!
Describe your network setup
Roon Nucleus+ linked to router via an Audioquest Cinammon ethernet cable and an English Electric audiophile network switch. Controlled using an iPad Pro.
Just a fellow user here. When this happens to me I restart the server. Seems to fix the problem, although I’ve never had a thousand duplicates. I don’t think it can cause harm and it might fix your problem.
It will come back some time after the reboot, and the duplicated albums will be different. It needs the fix from Roon Labs. However, the issue is annoying but only cosmetic.
Hi @Paul_Savage1,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I’m glad the server restart worked for you. As @Suedkiez said we are working on a permanent fix for this. I cannot provide a specific timeline but please be assured it is being worked on.
