What makes you think it is supported as display? it is nowhere listed in the article you linked. AFAIK it never worked as Roon Display so far. Read also:

Hi, I just joined Roon, it’s awesome. Would be great to use the nest hub on my desk as a display for what’s playing. I saw there was a thread on this and @dylan mentioned that the devs are aware of this: Google Home Hub as Roon Display?.
