Got my first Lumin product

I purchased my first Lumin product. A lightly used M1. It replaced a WiiM amp. First let me say, it took all of 20 seconds to get it up, running and connected to Roon. It is probably new gear smell but definitely feel like there is more depth and a wider sound stage. I have it pushing a pair of LS50 metas. I am hoping I don’t like it too much and then feel the Eversolo in the main system has to go.

Glad to see you are enjoying your M1. I also have an M1 (but in black) driving LS50M in an office space and its fantastic.

A USP for Lumin is the firmware and software support, I have not seen better.

Agree and that is why I jumped on this one. Unfortunately I am one of those experiencing severe issues with Roon being super slow. All was great until about a month ago. I have eversolo, lumin, wiim and ropieee all exhibiting the same issues.

I don’t want to go back to vinyl or cds full time.

How much RAM do you have on your NUC7 i3?

Is it still slow after reboot?

Your 46k tracks are all inside your NUC7 local drive, not via SMB from another NAS or computer, correct?

If you have got one of those certified m.2 SSD for your NUC7 in that era, there is a possibility that the m.2 SSD is having a problem, especially if it is a Transcend or Kingston.
