Gradually increase volume when resuming playback

Is there a way to gradually return back to volume levels before the music was paused?
I mean, when I pause and resume playing, it hurts my ears quite a bit as the volume is back immediately to its level when I paused, which is quite loud.

Here’s an open feature suggestion, add your vote

Track fade out (Pause, Stop, Skip Track, Sleep, ...) and fade in when restarting

I would love to ‘see’ it implemented.
