Ive tried this so many times but I cannot get the ropieee to start-up ie. the green light is still flashing fast. Ive tried restarting, flashing the card again, Ive waited overnight. Im not connected via ethernet. When I type in ropieee/local I get the wifi setup screen but there are no wifi options in the drop down. I think I was doing this with the ethernet connected actually. Ive tried an RPI3 and RPI4. Both with the same result. Should I try flashing another SD card?
If you’re using WiFi during installation I suggest you make sure you use the latest 2023.05 release from yesterday, as there was a problem with scanning in AP mode.
The easiest way is of course plugin ethernet during installation.
Ill give that a go and let you know how I get on. I have previoiusly tried with ethernet and it wasnt working either.
I installed version 2023.05 only last night. I did the initial set up using ethernet and then once it was up and running switched to wi-fi. Works fine.
