Grouped alternate versions of albums displayed separately on Android

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Windows 10, latest Roon, but it’s irrelevant I believe.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Mikrotik, but it works fine.

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Irrelevant.

Description Of Issue

On Android app grouped alternate versions of albums not displayed together (as in desktop app or iOS they do). Screenshot on Android:

Screenshot on Windows:

On your android remote, do you have settings > general > show hidden tracks and albums set to yes?
If so, duplicates will be shown in the album browser.

Hi @klokan054,

As Brian suggested, check the Show Hidden Tracks and Albums setting on your remote. This is a per-remote setting.

Thanks!

Thanks, it works.

I would never, never connect this setting with displaying grouped albums. I would think that “hidden album” in this case would be if you click “hide album”, not if you group few albums. I didn’t hide them, I connected them into group.

IMHO this is bad UI/UX.
