Description of Issue

As soon as I group the Pulseflex 2i into a group I face the following issue: When I skip a track whether local library or Quobuz stream the playback often stops. Starting a track often stucks. I have no issues if I disable the Pulseflex 2i.

Do you have any hint for me? Thanks in advance, Benedikt

Hey @Su_und_Bene_Kaless,

Thanks so much for your patience while we work through each thread. Following up here, we were able to enable diagnostics on your account to take a closer look at your issue.

Overall, it seems like an endpoint is applying a setting or causing Roon to be throttled when playback is occurring. What is the current firmware on the Pulse Flex?

If possible, can you test hardwiring the Pulse Flex to core/network?

Lastly, refreshing your RAATServer database may be helpful here. Steps to follow below:

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RAATServer”
  • Rename the “RAATServer” folder to “RAATServer_old”
  • Restart the Roon App to generate a new RAATServer folder

Hi Benjamin,

thanks for your reply. Today I tested to reset the folder RAATServer and I will give an update on my experience regarding my issue of skipping tracks.

The Pulseflex is always connected via wire and the Firmware is the last (3.20.45)

Best
