Artist names in Japanese usually include a separator (a middle dot “・”) between the first and last names (e.g., Dvořák), but in rare cases, it is missing (e.g., Vivaldi). Since AllMusic does not provide Japanese names, I assume Roon configures them independently? Who should I contact to request a correction for this?
These artist and genre name translations are handled through Fluency, our third-party crowdsourced translation project.
We’ll migrate this post to the #translation category, where we’ll follow up with instructions for submitting a correction to Fluency. This might require you to accept an invitation to join the project. Please stand by.
This does not appear to be an isolated incident; the attached image shows that the separator is missing from six out of the twelve units—fully half of them. I would like you to conduct a thorough inspection and rectify the issue.
As shown in the attachment, for very obscure artists, the Japanese name is sometimes missing from the database; I would like to see all such names registered.
