Im now running update V1.2 build 159, and my Airplay crash all the times, with any source.
Are there anybody outhere, who have similar problems?
I have send an e-mail to their support, and the are aware and are working on it.
I am on build 159 but I never use AirPlay or Spotify in my setup (I seem to remember at least one of them failed to enable).
Itās good that they are aware of It and working on it, and It would be great if they put out regular updates and additional features, but that didnāt seem to happen for the AH90

Iād been looking for a streamer dac with balanced output but without headphone amp etc to replace the matrix mini.
Well My Matrix Mini-i Pro 3 has gone to be the my (rarely used) headphone listening station in the living room and everything else has moved around the house to different rooms. Pretty happy with this little device but for me it is limited to Roon & UPNP (though it does AirPlay and Spotify as well but I have not tried them and there are reports of issues above and elsewhere). Both Roon an UPNP have been rock solid for me

How do you switch inputs to say usb or optical instead of streaming? Can you do it with the remote?
Remote is easiest way to change input, but there is also buttons on the device

The blurb about it is full off the normal manufacturerās hyperbole but low on practical detail 
This seems to be the way for many suppliers these days.
For me itās a great sounding DAC and as I already said, the Roon Bridge function has been absolutely rock solid so far

Jesper It appears this is the latest version, at least from the device website.

How is the firmware updated on this thing? Is it OTA or a download and install? My DR70 will be ordered withinthe next 24 hours..
BTW I just swapped out the fuses on my U18 and Iris 12th. I wouldnāt believe it if I didnāt hear it with my own ears. Greater depth of sound field and more authoritative and controlled bass. First order of business will be to swap out the fuses on the DR70.
Before I did this I considered the idea as nonsense, but then my noodle started noodling and I thought everything we are listening to is electricity, power. And we spend all this money PSUs Conditioners, cables, etcā¦ But then source power comes in from the wall or powerstrip / LPSY or conditioner and we run that power through a thin strand of sacrificial wire. I didnāt go for $200 fusesā¦ I read about ACME Silver with CFC and now Iām convincedā¦
It supports both, but see the screen shot above to see how easy OTA upgrading is
I will be interested in your feedback on changing the fuses on the DR70

Thanks Michael. Iām just have to wait an see. I have written to them, if its possible to downgrade, so i can get my Airplay working, and maybe have the oppertunity to downgrade if a bad update arrive. Im a little puzzled, that they publish an upgrade, with such an error.

Is the DR70 WiFi enabled or Ethernet only?
I canāt find any spec for WiFi in the manual or promo material.
From what I can see it is an Ethernet only device.
I have never found anything that would make me think it has any WiFi connectivity.
The Ariel on the back is only for BT as well.

In that case you asked the right question.
I have a couple of Wiim devices in the house and they are good. The Pro Plus doesnāt sound nearly as good but the functionality is great and value is also fantastic

Stick a mid tier DAC on it - itās a fantastic transport - coax out to DAC is whole nuther level. Istick with the Ultras because I want the USB out.

Looks like the DR70 is back in play for me. Iāve got a GLI Beryl 3000 travel router that I discovered can operate as an Ethernet wifi bridge. Thatāll work and the USB port on the back of the DR70 should provide the 5v to power it. Can anyone confirm that the USB port is powered?

Is it possible to turn on/off the DR70 using Roon app?
And is it possible to cast from Spotify app on my ipad to the DR70?
