Hi I have fitted an internal hard drive but it is not showing in storage. Should this be the case or I’m I missing something
Is it showing in the Web Administration Interface, and have you formatted it?
I notice that you have recently also asked for support regarding connecting an external drive via USB to your Nucleus. Is that now resolved?

No… And you had posted a screenshot of the Web Administration interface in your other thread… Please do it again now that you have added an internal drive.
With my internal hard drive installed and showing in storage I can’t get it as a backup source and my own music has not transferred to it. Is it supposed to do that if not what does it do
??? You possible meant target instead of source? Anyway, the internal drive is meant for you to store your music files on it. For that the whole drive (if one is present) is automatically setup as a watched folder in Roon. Watched folders shouldn’t be used for backups and so Roon Labs prohibits that on their own OS (neither source nor target works AFAIK).
This is on you to do. The drive gets exposed as a network share so you can transfer files from your desktop computer / laptop.
