I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 with the latest version of ropieee as a bridge to an Esoteric K-01XD SE SACD player’s USB input. Hi-res (eg 24/96) files produce audible hash noise. However, non hi-res files (16/44.1) files play cleanly on the exact same signal chain with no changes other than the file’s sample rate. If I connect directly from the Roon core (MacMini) to the Esoteric, everything plays cleanly.
Has anyone had this issue and is there a known fix for it?
