where do you see that , I just looked and canāt see anything referring to EQ ??
I had a similar situation , I had been negotiating with the management committee about buying Focal Clear MG when I saw a Black Friday deal for HiFiMan Arya Stealth . So I bought them and 2 weeks later bought the Clear Mg as well.
Now all I do is compare them rather than listen.
They are very different , I simply canāt decide which is better. The Focal really look great !!

I have to install an app on the phone or ipad āFocal/Naimā. Then you pair your Bathys with the phone by bluetooth.
In the App you can do EQ, Personalisation, Firmware upgrade if availble.

There is a Naim Focal app that runs the Uniti Atom series , thatās what I use , I have the Atom Headphone Edition
No wonder I couldnāt find it. There is a similar Sony app that pairs and EQās my Sony WH 1000MX4ās

Just ordered a pair of Cleer Audio ARC IIās to improve listening āon the hoof.ā SQ will be many times better than their predecessors, Shokz Aeropeks.
EDIT: They have arrived and after a day of listening they donāt disappoint, they offer a couple of octives that were missing from their bone conducting predecessors.

Yes, Focal and Naim use the same app. You chose which product you want to configure. Since I have only the Bathys headphones, I cannot tell you more.
The Naim/Focal app controls everything, that was the situation pre merger & I believe has been extended to cover Focal.
Yes not having a device means you donāt see the bits to control that device , hence not realizing the Bathys was controlled from it

I haver 3 pairs of Gradoās, each more expensive than. the other. Now I donāt like them. Where as I hated closed backed headphones I find I love FiiO IEMs. Have from 2 pairs with a 3rd coming.
Iām a big fan of Gradoās (apart from the cable), but I also like Planarās on occasions.
What donāt you like about the cable?
I have custom cables on my other headphones which are braided and are very comfortable as well as enhancing the sound quality; the Gradoās still have the hosepipe cable that never quite behaves and can be slightly microphonic, but still sound good.
I know what mean. fat and heavy cables. didnāt know one col chnage them, especially as they go into the ear cups. Is it eqsy or does a specialist have to do it?
Itās best done by someone with experience as you have to deconstruct and re-solder the new cable inside the cups.
