No problems, happy to help.
Just upgraded my older psb headphones for the new Focal Bathys. As others have said before me, they sound great! I grabbed them mostly for travel etc so Bluetooth was a key feature. Onboard DAC is a nice touch. Listened to them side x side with the (wired) psb headphones before making the purchase and was impressed with the massive improvement with the Focals. Over Bluetooth they still have much higher dynamic range, clarity, and a wide deep soundstage. The psb’s sound like they are under water by comparison.
This is the best sounding audio investment I ever made in my almost 50 years of being into this hobby - period.
My statement may sound ridiculous for something only costing 32€ shipped, but don’t let the price bias you into dismissing this 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 In-Ear.
Three years ago, after I had to re-store/glue the decaying shells of my now 20 year old Shure SE425‘s, I actually eyeballed Sennheiser‘s IE900 after auditioning all the In-Ears I could lay my hands on during the Munich High-End-Shows, but had talked myself down to the not too shabby IE600 for half the, still hefty, outlay.
Finally three days ago, the extraordinary online measurement results persuaded me to just give them a shot for chump change, and wow, do they sound clean, clear, sweet and refined across the board with seemingly limitless dynamics and extension at both frequency extremes.
Their linear impedance makes them an easy to drive load for the head amp, so an also incredibly cheap USB-C 384kHz/32bit dongle DAC and USB Audio Player PRO with Qobuz just blow me away for hours on end …
Took about five minutes to choose the best sealing ear tips to get optimum bass response.
Absolutely highly recommended for everyone to find out that there have never been better days in state of the art audio reproduction!
Hi @Marin_Weigel Fantastic that you are enjoying them so much. If I didn’t have 5 pairs of IEM’s I would be tempted to put an order in today (still might ![]()
).
I’ve had the Crinnicle Zero Blue just under 2 year and was amazed at the sound for such a low price $75 AUD, then got the Red about 6 months ago which felt even better with a much better grasp of the lows and mids for about $95 AUD.
Then I purchased these about 3 weeks ago including the slightly better cable for a total of $76 AUD and I find them a step up again.
It is indeed amazing what is being produced for the price ![]()
Edit: BTW, What tips are you using?
A nice (SQ) combination: FiiO M23 + Austrian Audio - The Composer.
Now I just need a nice (SQ) BT headphone.

That’s great, thank you Marin. You are very lucky that you can find a pair that fit out of the box with the IEM. Doesn’t happen for me often, if at all.
Hopefully better luck for me tomorrow when they arrive. But i think we all knew that I would buy a pair. Blue Color $32.19 Shipped, so I splurged and got another Linsoul Tripowin Cable for a further $26.38.
Just listening to my Kinerra Nanna 2 Pro’s just to remind me how good they are as well, but the cost of them 3 years ago is a costly memory now.
Thanks for posting earlier…
@Marin_Weigel Hi Marin. Hope you are well. Arrived on Sunday morning.
Pictured with the CP145. Have also used with the Foam Magic Tips. Lovely on both.
Thanks again for sharing. ![]()
I’m in the midst of a Man Cave makeover - I’ll post some pics when it’s presentable. I fancied a new pair of closed back cans. Currently I’m spoiled by my Drop + DCA Aeon Closed X bedside cans. These fell into my basket on Amazon the other night (a glass of wine may have been involved):
Had a listen to a few tracks on the Benchmark HPA4 in the lounge. With a bit of EQ, they sound really nice. Crazy good for the price. Just waiting on a 4 pin XLR cable arriving from my favourite eBay headphone cable purveyor to use them on the HD3S.
Nice cans.
Nice bokeh too. What camera/lens? f/1.4?
I just bought the sennheiser momentum 4, for the ANC on aircraft and hotel listening and they are seriously very good. Great ANC on a recent flight, not at all fatiguing and great sounding with Plexamp.
Nice textured bass rather than boomy as I sometimes find with BT headphones, they’re no replacement for my wired setups but for the money Vs what I have paid for wired cans and amps, they represent excellent value for money
Its only money ,virtual in some account somewhere == headphones are real ![]()
Cable arrived yesterday - much quicker than expected.
I don’t buy into the whole esoteric, unobtanium cable materials making headphones sound better, so I buy mine from a seller on eBay. A huge range of colour, weave and connnector options. The fabric covered cables are very flexible and exhibit very low microphonics.
I’m liking these a lot.
Just need to think bigger ![]()

Hi Graeme that’s a useful eBay seller to save for later so thanks for that.
Very reasonably priced ![]()
I have the same two pairs of Closed headphones and actually prefer the Hifimam to the DCA for all the fact that I paid less than a third of the price of the DCA cans.
Generally I will always pick a pair of Open headphones for real enjoyment though. Closed are just for keeping the peace ![]()
That cable is no good for headphones. It only supports unbalanced connections ![]()
That’s a normal cable with a very tiny man.
