Help diagnosing-Roon Stopping Often

My Roon stops playing about every 2 minutes. The UI on my phone shows “Select an Audio Zone” for a couple seconds, then finds where I was, but paused.

I tried different speakers, using my laptop as UI, trying to find out if there were specific components at issue. The only thing that’s changed in the last few months are Roon updates.

When I use the core as UI and output, I get the message “Waiting for Roon Server” then the same behavior.

Task Manager shows Roon Appliance at the top of CPU (16-22%, Roon 11-16), Memory (94%, Roon 25% of 8GB), Disk (34-54%, Roon 0.5-22Mb/s) so it doesn’t seem like it’s another process

How do I diagnose this?

@RJ_Plummer, I moved your post to the Support category. Can you fill out the information below about your system so Roon and the community can advise on possible solutions:

Roon Server Machine

Include your operating system and machine info (Model, CPU, RAM)

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Your network gear (model of routers/switches) and if on WiFi/Ethernet

Connected Audio Devices

Specify what devices you’re using and their connection types, like USB/HDMI/Chromecast, etc.

Number of Tracks in Library

Tell us how large your music library is, eg. “30,000 tracks”

Description of Issue

Tell us about the problem you’re having in as much detail as possible. Screenshots are always appreciated!

Never mind. Restarted the core and all is well. Should have tried that sooner but I thought it was a network issue
