Description of Issue

Neither hifi berry will not update build 943. Both download but install stops and error message is “There was an error checking for an update”.

Hi, nothing to do with your current ‘issue’ but isn’t the MRX Roon ready on board - this would surely be better for sound quality and general performance?

Anthem is not Roon ready or actually Roon anything. It works thru airplay or chrome cast. However that screws up my ability to link to other receivers thru out my setup. Setting up RPi as an endpoint fixed that issue but now the won’t update past build 943.

I’ve got Linux Ubuntu running on a N40 Mini PC Fanless Celeron N4020. Haven’t had any issue until now. Like you, it seems stuck on build 943 with the “There was an error checking for an update”. Everything else on the pc is up to date.

Got Roonbridge on raspberry pi and it won’t update past 943, running dietpi.
