Description of Issue

About 6-8 weeks ago I noticed Roon becoming unresponsive via several remotes (all iOS or MacOS based). Sometimes audio drops also occur. When I look at my server cpu/memory utilization, I see the roon core consuming a large amount of memory (~2.5G) and spiky amounts of CPU. The CPU utilization will spike to 80% of available CPU. This happens while roon is idle, no music playing, and will persist indefinitely. If I restart the core the behavior goes away, but it’ll usually revert to this behavior within a few hours of using roon again. I’ve been using roon with this setup for the last year+ without any issues previously.

I think the plots below tell the story. I shutdown the roon core around 2pm. Prior to 2pm the core was running, but was not streaming any music. It was sitting idle.
