High CPU usage on Mac mini when streaming to Sonos One SL with Roon (ref#QAPMP8)

Describe the issue

I am streaming from Roon to Sonos One SL, and even when I am playing
music or nothing, it consumes about 20-40% of the CPU, and the Mac mini
fan keeps running.

When I play to Sonos with Airplay2, the CPU only consumes a few percent.

I looked at the Roon labs community and found a similar inquiry below. I
have been using Roon since October and this did not happen before, so it
may be that the recent Roon update has caused a degradation.

I think there is a problem with streaming to Sonos, so please
investigate and fix it.

The OS is macOS13.7.1.

HI @daniel ,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I understand that the technical support team is already aware of this issue.

I hope that this issue will be resolved after other high-priority issues are addressed.

Since Qobuz was launched in Japan in October 2024, I have been using it with Roon. It has been a wonderful experience. I look forward to further development of Roon in the future.
