Describe the issue

Hi, today I received a message to update some software on my Roon. I clicked update and after that my Holo Red Streamer (Roon Ready) is not showing up in Roon anymore. It works with UpNP, LMS, Tidal Connect and so on, but not anymore with Roon. Can I roll back the update or what is the problem?

Describe your network setup

Roon server is running on a mac mini M4, the mini is connected to the router via Ethernet. The Holo Red is connected to the router via Ethernet and is set to Roon Ready Mode.

Hey @richard3,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report! Welcome to the community as well - we’re excited to have you here.

Odd this happened right after an update! I see that you’re running Roon Sever on a Mac with Sequoia, can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

If you still run into your streamer not appearing under Audio devices, are you able to temporarily disable your Mac firewall and see if the same issue occurs?

We’ll be on standby for your reply, thanks! :+1:

Hi Benjamin, many thanks for your reply. Up to now, the setup worked without problems. After about 5 reboots of the mac mini and 5 reboots of the Holo Red, the streamer showed again in Roon. Not sure what the problem was since all the other connections and services like tidal connect, UpNP and LMS worked. But great that Roon is working again. Many thanks and best regards, Richard
