$1295 in 1969…
I think the one we had back then was a Zenith which was considered a good brand. It sure sounded good. Not as sophisticated as this one. Like the TVs back then, a beautiful piece of furniture.
I remember a song from one of the albums - 1 2 3 woolly bulleeeeey, woolly bully, woolly bully.

I believe our Zenith’s internal turntable was called “Cobramatic” and the end of the tonearm had snake eyes. They made optional satelite speakers that could be used to create a “wide soundstage.” These were the times of RCA and Columbia record clubs….”buy only 9 more at regular Club prices in the next three years.” Thank you for the memory.
