The Mac Mini serves as the Roon Core. I run it headless. Since updating my devices to 2.64, the Home screen no longer loads any content. I can access Qobuz, Tidal, albums, radio, other menu items. Music plays back normally. Roon ARC connection is fine.
After reviewing the diagnostics report, we’ve spotted a few things that might be causing your Home screen to hang.
The logs show several connectivity and authorization hiccups when your Core tries to pull personalized content from Roon’s servers.
There are also some signs of a sync issue with the local profile data.
In order to resolve this, please try the following:
Refresh your Account: Go to Settings -> Account and log out of your Roon account, then log back in. This often clears up authorization-related glitches.
Clear the Cache:
• Stop RoonServer on your Mac Mini.
• Find the RoonServer folder on your Mac and locate the Cache folder inside it.
• Delete everything inside the Cache folder and restart RoonServer.
Give that a shot and let us know if your Home screen comes back to life!
Not ideal but I was able to get it briefly working again by renaming all Roon folders in Library. I had to rebuild my music library and sign in to streaming services but at least the most important feature was working again - Discovery. It crashed after I tried opening my remote application and now is stuck on the loading jellyfish.
