Small detail I have to say: I upgraded the Mac Mini to Catalina and since then the output device description of the HomePod in Roon is not the HomePod Airplay/Homekit description of the device anymore but some generic AP Endpoint Aggregate (whatever this means). Can we get the good old Airplay/Homekit Name back?
I think this means Airplay endpoint. Also, I suspect Roon is displaying detail returned by the OS in the Settings screen. You’ll only see this here … which is why you can provide custom text for each Zone.

When you select this, it plays to the HomePod?
If you scroll down to the Airplay section do you also see the HomePod there?
