How Can I map a Meridian MD600 Media Drive for Roon use?

Hi Carl,

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to use the MD600 as a Samba share and connect Roon to it that way. The following threads discuss how to do this, hope this helps!

What does Roon offer? I'm coming from the Meridian world

I’m still a bit confused here. I have a MD600 and multiple MS200s. I also have a MacMini that I could use as a server. Can I use my MD600 as storage in a Roon System? Can my MS200s play back from Roon? I also have numerous Squeezebox Touch and Sonos units. Can these also work with Roon?

I have taken a look at the threads, and entered an smb share, in the format as I understand it, but Roon does not recognise it.

Have you completed this yourself on your own MD600?

I have the ip address of my MD600, and any more assistance with the smb share line, would also be most appreciated indeed!

I was doing a review of my cases and I noticed I missed your reply here, sorry about that. Are you still having issues with your MD600? I don’t own an MD600 nor have seen one, unfortunately.

What error are you seeing in Roon, and what exactly did you enter? When you connect to your MD600 from a Windows or Mac PC, how do you do so? Do you need to use any password?
