Presently, I have to delete each track individually. That is, press the three dots on the right of the screen and select remove from playlist. While still tedious, even being able to select each track–say with a check box–and then pressing delete would be an improvement.

iOS — Press and hold on a track to select it. You can then press and hold on the next track. You can do this for several tracks and then remove them all at once.
Windows — Right-click to select a track. You can select multiple this way, and you can use Shift + Right-Click to select multiple at once.
