Hi Roon community,
I recently lost one of the URL of a radio station that I love listening - Melody FM from Malaysia.
I seem to cant find the new URL and all the guide that I try from internet to no avail.
Can I get some help here.
Much appreciated,
CM

It plays for me.
What are you running Roon on? Is it a NAS?
If so, you may have an issue where .aac streams won’t play because you are missing the appropriate codec. One of these links may help you install the necessary codec:
Qnap
Synology
(Finding the link for this station entails analysing the streams used. Not straightforward.
For other stations fmstream.org can sometimes help )
roon server version 2.0 (build 1496)

The question is about the hardware Roon runs on. Is it a PC or NAS?

I can play the radio station fine in the UK, so this is an international AAC stream. It would seem that you don’t have the necessary codec installed.
There are some reports online that Windows 11 doesn’t always play AAC, especially after an upgrade from Windows 10.
You could try installing the codecs in Windows Media Player or from the Microsoft website, or use the standard K-Lite Codec Pack.

Are you running Windows N edition?
Either way, @mjw 's comments are good.

i have downloaded the lastest windows media player for win11, and copy the url to play on the media player and it works.
however, it still can’t play on the roon.
