Since my roon Nucleus Plus is dead and has been since shortly after purchase I am trying to access music on an external hard drive that I plugged into my plain Nucleus. There does not seem to be a way for the nucleus to find the music on the hard drive? How to work this?
I was able to fine the g drive and start the import of files after several hundred were imported the light on the g drive stopped flashing, not I can’t find the nucleus on the network " waiting for roon core"
now it appears that the unit is also dead.
Now working again, took a long time for nucleus to be found?
Sounds like the USB Drive is suspect.
Can you see the Nucleus on the network on your PC. Are you Windows or MAC ?
If so check the Data/Storage folder can you see a USB. Drive , it will probably have a funny long name
