This is a follow up regarding people having issues logging into Roon Arc on the Astell & Kern SR35.
The webview will not allow the login to complete. The solutions was published recently by A&K. With firmware v1.22, it now allows the Chrome APK to be sideloaded onto the device. Once this is sideloaded, the SR35 will now use the Chrome browser to complete the login.
Steps to fix:
1. Update firmware to v1.22
2. Download Google Chrome APK (XAPK is incompatible)
3. Copy the APK to the OpenService directory on the SR35 (connect via FTP or USB)
4. The APK should now appear in the Open Service tab
5. Install Google Chrome (this will now be the default over Webview)
6. Make sure Roon Arc is updated on the SR35
7. Log into Arc as normal
