How would Cambridge Audio MXN10 fit into my Roon system?

I’m using a 2018 Mac Mini as a Roon server and an SOtM sMS-200 Neo streamer (via wired ethernet) into a Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus. I sometimes get annoying dropouts and I wondered if the “Roon ready” Cambridge MXN10 might offer a more stable connection, but I’m confused about how it would function for what I need. I saw a Cambridge rep talking on YouTube about using it to replace a computer server, but I don’t understand what he means. Isn’t the streamer used as an endpoint, feeding into the DAC (or using its own internal DAC)? Here’s the way my system is set up now:

In home office: 20 TB external hard drive with ALAC/FLAC music library files, connected via USB to >

MacMini running Roon. Ethernet out to >

Cable/FIOS/broadband router (from Ziply Fiber). Ethernet out to >

SOtM sMS-200 Neo streamer (in living room). USB Audio out to >

Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus DAC. RCA analog cables out to >

AUX/TAPE inputs of vintage audio amps (McIntosh C28/M2505, Sansui AU-4900, Marantz 2275).

Would the MXN10 make sense to streamline/strengthen the signal path here, or is there some other set-up that would make more sense? Thanks…

Yes, you are correct. This is exactly what it would do.
The dropouts you experience could have all sorts of causes, maybe even as simple as a faulty cable.
