HQPlayer NAA + Diretta Host on an sMS-200 Neo — anyone using this setup?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to use two SOtM sMS-200 Neo units with HQPlayer running on my Mac mini M4. My proposed chain is:

Mac mini / Roon + HQPlayer → NAA on the first sMS-200 Neo → Diretta → second sMS-200 Neo → USB → T+A DAC 200

The first Neo would act as both the HQPlayer NAA endpoint and Diretta Host, while the second would act as the Diretta Target.

Has anyone successfully used this configuration? Specifically:

  • Can NAA and Diretta Host run simultaneously on the first Neo?

  • Does the Diretta output appear as a selectable audio device in the NAA configuration?

  • Does this work reliably with native DSD, particularly DSD512?

  • Which Eunhasu version and settings are required?

I’ve seen reports of HQPlayer working with an sMS-200 as Diretta Host and an sMS-200 Ultra as Target, but I haven’t found the NAA configuration details.

I’d like to keep HQPlayer processing on the Mac and avoid adding a Windows PC for Diretta ASIO. Firsthand experience with two standard Neo units would be especially helpful.
