HQPresets is a web client and local web server solution that provides partial control of an HQPlayer system through its API and a web interface.
In essence, HQPresets acts as an alternative front-end for interacting with HQPlayer, while preserving its full audio performance.

If I try to run the program on my MacBook Air m3, I get a message that says “HQPresets is damaged and can not be opened”.
I haven’t tried this from the manual:
On Macs with M-series processors, to bypass macOS Gatekeeper—
which checks for app signatures and quarantine status—you may need
to run the following command:
o xattr -cr ////HQPresets.app
o
Warning: Use this command with caution. It recursively
removes all extended attributes, including the quarantine flag,
from the app.

what you want to do now is go to Applications folder in mac finder, find HQPresets, right click it and select “new terminal at folder”
It will open a terminal, type
cd …
to go back one in folder, and then run
xattr -cr HQPresets.app
it will open now when you run it

Hey,
So Im running it on mac. I want to make sure I understand its functionality correctly.
I still have to setup all of my HQPlayer settings on my pc running HQPLAYER Desktop?
Then, I can open your application and i can save the current hqplayer desktop setup as a preset?
From there, I can switch between different saved presets through my web browser on any device connected to my local network?
Yes, that’s the way to go if you want to take HQPresets further on a M-series Mac
Yes absolutely, that’s the idea. You can also associate a preset with albums/tracks so that it is applied ‘automatically’ by HQPresets during playback
