After a good nights sleep I finally figured it out! You use, let’s say a Samsung remote (or another supported remote), and tell the Hegel amp, that it has to talk to Samsung. Then you teach your Apple TV to use the Samsung IR controls - and hey Presto! Now everything works as I hopes. Thanks again @Vitor_Goncalves !
