Description of Issue

I tried different ways of setting up with IFI Gryphon

  1. Install IFI Windows Driver
  2. Different selections on render and decoder or both
  3. Using or not using core mqa with IFI AISO
  • Decode and Render using core => MQA 48K
  • Decoder only => MQA 48K
  • Render only => OFS 48K

Hope to get suggestions or advice from other pro audio :smiley:

HI @Phuc_Ngo,

I’m happy to report that you’re getting MQA playback in each of these cases. In Roon, when using Core decoder and your iFi set as Renderer you’ll see OFS with is the unfolded MQA stream. You can find more details of Ifi’s site here: OFS shows instead of MQA? - iFi audio
