Import problem from dsd folder [Resolved]

files that are cd ripping is able to import well but import not very much in dsd folder. what should i do ? dsd file contains iso and non-iso things from NAS

DSF and DFF files are recognized by Roon, not ISO’s.

Roon only supports DSF right now, not DFF.

This is good as DFF does not support MetaData like DSF does…

can not import any file.

What files exactly are you trying to import?
What are the files extensions?
What folder are they in?
Is the folder watched by Roon?
Have you successfully imported other music (FLAC, MP3 etc)?

im a user of roon. i recently changed my computer, install roon again and appointed watch folder. it is able to scan but import is not working. im using window 10 how should i solve the problem ?

Hey @ldh, would you mind to give us more info about your problem:

  1. Are you sure that you aren’t using Windows10 K, N or KN ( these versions require manual installation of media pack ) ?
  2. What is the file format of missing files?
  3. Are you sure that the folder which contains missing files was added to Roon?

1.windows 10 pro kn is installed.
2.all file is not importing

Hi @ldh – it sounds like you may be missing some required codecs, which Microsoft doesnt ship with that version of Windows.

Can you install this media pack, then restart Roon:
