At the moment, we don’t have enough information to determine what’s going wrong. The message “Can’t find server” can occur for several different reasons, depending on where and how your Roon Server is running.

To help us move forward, please clarify the following:

  1. Which device is hosting your Roon Server?
    (For example: a Windows PC, Mac, Linux machine, NAS, or Roon Nucleus)
  2. Is that device powered on and connected to the same network as your Lenovo laptop?
  3. Are you running:
  • Roon Server on one device, and
  • Roon Remote on the Lenovo laptop
    or is everything supposed to be running on the same machine?
  1. Are you using any of the following on your network?
  • VPN software
  • Multiple routers / mesh extenders
  • Guest Wi-Fi network

Once we know where your Roon Server is hosted and how your devices are connected, we can advise on the next steps.
