· I'm having trouble adding music to my library
Some versions of the same album or artist with different sampling rates etc. are displayed, while others are not.

Have you checked for the missing versions under the Versions tab? Roon will collect together different versions of albums and you can view the “missing” ones there. You can even group all your versions together if roon has not done that automatically so when browsing you only see the one “Primary Version” that you prefer. This is what I do to reduce clutter and scrolling. But some like to “Ungroup” their versions so they are all visible at the same time on the album browser. It sounds like that is your preference.
