Signal Path not reflecting file type correctly

Describe your network setup

Xfinity Gateway XB7 router+modem. Roon server is iMac, connected wirelessly to KEF LSW50II.

The file type hidden by the file path pop-up is a 24/96 FLAC (below screenshot).

I’m confused why the MQA decoder is being used on this 24/96 FLAC file - and then if it is, why is it being rendered later on at 44.1?

That is not a Roon issue. Roon is streaming from Tidal and reporting correctly 24 bit 96 kHz.

It is a KEF issue. Everything from KEF LS50 Wireless II and below is KEF custody of the Signal path. Contact KEF about the discrepancy.

Also, reboot the KEF pair and try again.

I’ll give that a try, thanks!
