Roon displays the wrong work In an album containing Schubert's string quartets, I have String Quartet No. 10 in E flat major, Op. 125 No. 2 D 87 and String Quartet No. 11 in E major, Op. 125 No. 2 D 353. However, Roon displays String Quartet No. 10 twice. The movement names are correct, but the work title is the same in both cases. This is obviously incorrect, as E major is not E flat major. I have checked the tags several times, removed the files from the library and re-imported them, but nothing has changed. Is there anything that can be done? Or do I just have to live with the fact that this is another case where Roon knows better than I do what I want?

No, it is not identified because Roon cannot find it. My media library has been around for quite some time and underwent many restructuring processes before it was integrated into Roon. This has certainly led to some inconsistencies, which now prevent Roon from processing the data independently. I would prefer if Roon would simply accept and display what I have entered in the tags instead of lecturing me on how to do it correctly, or simply displaying what it thinks is more correct than what I want it to be, without comment. Then at least it would be clear that the errors are caused by me, so that I could fix them. But that doesn’t seem to be possible. I guess I’ll just have to live with it.
I don’t have the time to deal with this issue. I want to use my limited time to listen to music, not to constantly look for ways to work around the idiosyncrasies of the software or its developers. If there’s no other way, I’ll just live with these inconsistencies, even if they annoy me from time to time and I keep hoping that the problems can at least be fixed in this or that area.
I did some research on the internet and It appears there is no album titled exactly “Mandelring‑Quartett Streichquartette (Mandelring)” in the ensemble’s discography. However, the Mandelring Quartett has released several albums of string quartets under the title “Streichquartette” as well as combined works under “String Quartets”—mostly featuring composers such as Brahms, Herzogenberg, Dessoff, Schubert, and others.
