· My Roon core is a MacBook Pro connected to the router by ethernet. My main music system is Meridian 808 with ID41 card also connected to the router by ethernet. I am losing connection, the 808 'disappears' as an audio device despite the fact that the indicator lights to the ID41 input continually flash so the network connection appears OK. The issue is intermittent, with the 808 reappearing, then disappearing again. I read that there have been issues with older Meridian legacy products, including the ID41. Is this the likely cause? In which case should I replace the 808 with Meridian 210 streamer? Any other advice? I am using Meridian DSP speakers so I need something that connects by ethernet (speaker link) cable. Thanks for any suggestions.
