Intermittent dropouts in audio playback on specific tracks across different devices (ref#OLWFDN)

Full form submission

What’s happening?

I'm having trouble playing music

What best describes your playback issue?

I'm hearing dropouts

Some tracks start playing then after a few seconds drop out, silence then restart after several seconds then drop out again. This happens consistently in the same tracks and when played through different audio devices (one set Linn speakers, another set Keff speakers via Linn Majik box). Other tracks play without difficulty. It seems to be irrespective of whether locally stored or streamed (Tidal). All devices have been rebooted as has my Wi-Fi router, which is working for other devices. I have had my setup for 32 months professionally installed and I have a lifetime Roon subscription

Hi @Douglas_Russell1

What’s Roon Server running on?

What resolution of music are you playing when this occurs?

Could you describe your network?

Innuos Zenith box their top spec model. Had it 2.5 years. Home network is WiFi based driven by 4G via a satellite dish booster that provides good bandwidth (usually) in last few days one local mast was down giving 4g “congestion” from mobile phones connecting. Only streamed files drop out, local ripped library do not. Stream is by Tidal, Aflac /MQA

Perhaps your Innuos is finding its limits.

Hi @Douglas_Russell1,
Unfortunately, this is not supported hardware please reach out to Innuos support for help. I’ve moved this to tinkering.
