@Robbert_Marrink your screenshot shows equalization after the data arrives at your Denon device…I wonder if some experimentation with that might lead to a different result? Shooting in the dark right now, I realize…
Yes, that’s only the case with my bathroom speaker. There I adjusted my high and low slightly via the HEOS app. The speaker is not used very much and for now I have installed it together with another DH 150 as a test setup and turned off all adjustments. Let’s see if I get any unwanted breaks with this.
I read in your post about your setup that you also worked with a Synology 918+. You didn’t have the same problems as me at the time?
Nice post by the way, very informative. And partly recognizable. I myself have a library of about 25,000 files, with the metadata kept very neatly too. At album level, not like you at track level. But still In addition, by the way, a reasonable collection of vinyl. I can’t part with that.
No, I did not. The only reason I moved to the 1522+ was because the motherboard got fried in my 918+.
I’m up to just over 53,000 tracks now (2.4TB) and the 1522+ is humming smoothly!
I hope you can get your issues sorted out, I really do.
Hi @Robbert_Marrink ,
Does the same issue also happen when you are not playing to the devices to a group? For example, if you set a long playlist to play for both zones individually, do you notice one zone stop and the other keeps working? The log you posted suggests that the Denon Soundbar just disappears:
10/22 16:20:02 Info: [airplay] AirPlay device disconnected: AirPlayDevice[DeviceId=C2F85B428C22@Werkkamer._raop._tcp.local, Name=Werkkamer-.local, Model=Denon Home Sound Bar 550, IPEndPoint=10.0.1.169:7000]
10/22 16:20:02 Trace: [airplay] disconnected
Also, all those endmutations suggest that there was background library work being done. You can try to set on-demand and background audio analysis to Throttled in Roon Settings → Library, that may help a bit.
