Thanks for taking the time to write in and share your report! It’s good to see on the community again.
A few follow-up questions for you:
Does this happen no matter the endpoint? For example, if you play to the system output of your remote device, or mobile device, does the same issue occur?
If you simply your network setup, and connect your Nucleus directly to your router, bypassing all other network gear, do you still experience the same issue?
As a next step, if the issue persists after the above, could you please take note of the date, time, and name of track playing, we’ll enable diagnostic mode to review further.
Thank you for revisiting this post. We’ve merged it with your originally thread accordingly.
From what we can tell in diagnostic logging, the ID41 Meridian Zone begins to report sample dropouts whenever there is bandwidth stress on the network. In most cases, the audio stream seems to recover gracefully; in one instance during the logged period, however, the dropouts accumulate sufficiently to stop the audio stream.
Since you mentioned you have an Orbi mesh network, please make sure you have followed the additional steps in the bottom half of this article for enabled multicast forwarding and IGMP snooping in the Orbi access points/mesh nodes:
Thanks for the speedy reply. I have unchecked “Disable IGMP Proxying” and rebooted the Orbi router. I don’t have any manned switches. I’ll see how it goes.
