iOS 16.5 appears to break Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter

I woke up this morning with the iOS 16.5 update installed even though I have automatic updates disabled.

I’ll check my Xs with the camera adapter this evening.

Updating to public beta 16.6 solves the issue

I have an iPhone 13 and am on 16.5, seems to be working here.

Yeah, nor have I, but a couple of days ago it prompted to install that evening, so I cancelled, but it came through last night.

iOS 17 is announced to come out in September. I don’t know whether an “official”, non-beta iOS 16.6 will be launched in the interim.

So far (knock on wood) 16.6 beta seems stable in an iPhone 14 and iPad Air (6th gen) and the charging issue is solved.

16.5.1 works fine and my CCK connects again to my iPhone and iPad.
