iOS Remote Bug - iPhone Xs Max

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Roon Rock on NUC 8i7, 16 GB RAM, Database on SSD 256 GB (98% availbale), Library on separate 1 TB SSD (50% available)
OS 1.0 (build 227)
Server 1.7 (build 667)

iPhone Xs Max. Remote v 1.7 (build 610)

Network Path

  • Router D-Link DIR-X 4800
  • Etherregen
  • Auralic Aries G2
  • Auralic Vega G2 (auralic units connected using HDMI cable via Lightning Link)
  • Everything hardwired using Cat 6a cable (bluejeans)

When using the iPhone as a remote and clicking on “Recent” I always get the message “You Haven’t Added Any Music Yet. Refresh”. It is there for a fraction of a second, but every time I click on Recent or Refresh it invariably pops up.

I have tried, resetting the iPhone, resetting ROCK, uninstalling and reinstalling Roon on the phone, but the issue persists.

Any ideas?
Regards,
Xavier

P.S. I do not experience this behaviour when using an iPad, or Mac.

Hi @Xavier_Pinto,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re aware of a few reports of similar behavior and we have an existing development ticket regarding this, so I have added your report to the ticket!

I can’t comment on any timelines of when the ticket will be resolved, but we’re aware and looking into this behavior!
