iPad unable to find Roon core and limited visibility on setup screen (ref#CVWOD9)

Full form submission

What’s happening?

I'm having trouble connecting to Roon

What type of connection issue?

*None* of my remotes can connect

None of my remotes can connect to the hub. I am using an iPad and a SamsungS8+ with the latest operating system. It can't find the hub and neither can my roon nucleus computer. I have tried to get help from you on this problem in the past and no help at all was forthcoming. I may need to switch to another system if you are unable to solve this problem. I am not paying form a service that can't be provided.

This is confusing. There is no “hub” as such in the Roon architecture. There is a Roon Server, and it seems you are using a Nucleus to provide this. Are you saying that your iPad and S8+ can’t connect to the Nucleus?

Though previously you said the Roon Server is on Windows, so I don’t understand where the Nucleus comes in:

Context: Apparently Roon support may never have gotten back to @michaelwalsh3 after uploading the logs? :frowning:

I’ve reopened that topic and merged so that all the history is together.
Hopefully this will help Roon’s @support team to provide better advice.

Hi @michaelwalsh3,

Apologies for the delay in getting to your thread. Are you still having issues on the latest Roon release?
