· Since my iphone 15 has updated to iOS 26, i am regularly getting this screen (black with text that says "Loading... Please Wait" when it links up with my car via CarPlay (wired or wireless). Sometimes if I wait it eventually shows the regular screen, sometimes if I go out of ARC and back in it will show the regular screen, but mostly I have to restart the app on my phone. The app on the phone is always working ok, and I can even play music through CarPlay if I use the phone, but obviously the whole point is to use the CarPlay interface.
This is with an iPhone 15, and a 2023 VW ID.4. Updates to iOS 26 have not changed anything. ARC app is latest version, no changes through recent updates.
I tried deleting the app from the phone and reinstalling, but no changes.

I posted yesterday morning when this issue occurred again, but deleted my post as it actually resolved itself, which it had not done previously. I used ARC several times in the car yesterday and the issue did not reappear. (Although I did get the “Loading” screen, it would eventually go away.)
Worth noting: I did uninstall and reinstall ARC over the weekend because I got so fed up with this issue, and perhaps that fixed something (a cache problem?).
Well it did it to me again, just now. 8:43am eastern. I had to open my phone and force quit the app then manually start music from the phone to clear it
Of course now that i’ve engaged roon support, i have not been able to reproduce. I’m getting the “please wait” screen, but i wait and it has cleared every time. Sometimes it takes up to 10s to clear. That is obviously not great, but i have not had it hang up recently.
It happened today, at 5:45PM PST. I waited for at least a minute, went to the CarPlay home screen, back into ARC, still stuck on the “Please Wait” screen. The app on my phone was fully functional, i started the music from there and it played fine. After waiting another minute or so, i went back to the CarPlay home screen, then hit the “Now Playing” app and it went into ARC and showed the correct screen, the currently playing song. So I was able to get around the issue without having to reboot the app, but obviously still an issue.
Thanks for letting us know the issue is still occuring @Jason_Ferguson and @ChrisA - our team is still in the process of attempting to reproduce the issue in-house.
We didn’t see anything out of the ordinary from the timestamp you’ve shared@Jason_Ferguson, certainly let us know the next time it happens, and we’ll take another look.
