My streamer is the Matrix Element S, Roon Ready. I run it via either LAN or WLAN.
For some months all has been well. Suddenly, in the last two weeks I experience audio dropouts.
Rebooting Roon has been largely ineffective; rebooting Element S - by removing and inserting the power cord - has always temporarily restored audio. But then suddenly … repeat performance …
My question: is the sudden fault a glitch in Roon or a malfunction in Element S?
I cant offer a fix, but I had the same issue appear the other week. Ive never had any network issues then all of a sudden roon started to stop at the beginning of a track. This wasnt on one device it was on multiple devices. Then it seemed to clear itself up, Ive had no issue in the last week or so. Looking into the logs this is what I found around the time the issue was occurring, have a search through your logs for “status”:“Lost” :
