Is the Samsung / Roon Family affair seamless?

I was at a friend’s house yesterday and heard the Samsung Q995C 11.1.4 Dolby Atmos soundbar as a pure music system. The source was Apple Music through an Apple TV 4k box. The result was extremely impressive. As it seems, the Q995D will be Roon ready. So I have some questions:

• Will the Q995C also become Roon ready through a firmware upgrade?
• I have lossless Dolby Atmos mkv files on my NAS. This is the same NAS I use to stream to Roon in my current setup. Is Roon able to bitstream (without converting to PCM) Dolby Atmos mkv files from a NAS to the Q995D?

Roon never disclose roadmap information, so nobody knows.

Roon does not support ATMOS streaming.
