I don’t see this issue addressed under “Minimum requirements.”
Currently my ISP provides a reliable mbps speed in the high '80s. Generally Roon works fine with that speed, although I have also had some issues with tracks skipping or play stopping since the introduction of Roon 1.7. But since the most recent update the problem appears to occur less often.
In any event, if there is a minimum mbps I’d like to know what it is.
For roon or for the streaming services Tidal, Qobuz?
Hi @Geoff_Mirelowitz — The minimum download speed is going to vary based on use, such as if you’re streaming TIDAL or Qobuz, what quality you’re playing that content at, and other networking traffic that is going on while you using Roon.
80mbps should be enough, though, so if you’re having issues please give us some details about your setup and the specific issue and we’d be happy to help!
Thanks. No issues other than the one I mentioned, which seems to be showing improvement.
Yes I am streaming Tidal as well as local files.
