Issue connecting to Roon Server on MacBook Pro and Sonoma, unable to connect via Remote and play through Sonos ports (ref#BHD2AA)

What’s happening?

I'm having trouble connecting to Roon

I have installed Roon Server on MacBook Pro running Sonoma and can’t connect via Remote. I have restarted. I have deleted app and reinstalled. Can’t connect from iPhone, iPad or other computer. I have deleted Roon and library files and tried again, same issue. Firewall is turned off and i have confirmed same network and root IP addresses. Manually entering IP into iPhone app doesn’t work either. When Roon Server is starting it show on Remote as connecting with a red dot, but the Connect button is “greyed” out. Then once the Server is fully started, it disappears from the Remote and Remote goes back to can’t find Roon Server. Also, though the Server can find my Sonos ports in setup, nothing happens when i try to play something through them (in Airplay or Sonos). When i try Sonos port, i get error saying it lost port.

Hey jeffrey.olgin,

Ben with the support team here - thanks for writing in! From your account info I see that your server and remote devices have been online and active recently. Are you still having issues connecting?

I’ll be on standby for your reply. :+1:
