Hello. Another problem i noticed since the new update. When I start using air play, all speakers are at 100% volume. I tried to set maximum volume to 80% to protect my speakers. It doeasn't change anything. When I start playing music with air play on several speakers, the sound start playing at 100%. And there is no way to fix that. This will end up ruining my speakers for sure. I just don't get what is goiing on with roon updates. I don't understand that you guys manage to ruin things that were working perfectly before. Is this the end ?
Thanks for taking the time to write in! Sorry to hear you’re having issues over airplay. We’re tracking and actively working on other airplay issues that may be related to what you’re experiencing, and I should have more information to share from our team soon.
Does this issue also happen when you’re playing to a single endpoint, not grouped within a zone?
Now this is my main issue and i didn’t receive any reply and this is really annoying :
Since the new update I’m hearing dropouts when starting a new track. In every track before the song actually start, especially when there is silence, i can hear a “clicks” / “drop outs” in the very beginning. And this was not happening before. It happens when playing with “air play” with different speakers at the same time. But does not happen when using “RAAT”. I notice now that the “clicks” occurs when i’m changing track manually, or starting one single track manually, earing “cliks” at the beginning of every single tracks and onn every device in my home.
Sorry for any confusion, the team was on standby for:
I’m glad to hear you’re no longer experiencing issues with volume. I’d first give your router, roon server, and endpoints a hard reboot and leave each unplugged for a few minutes before powering back on. If your issue still persists after the above, please share the date, time and name of the track playing when the issue occurs. Thank you!
